Riding the Wind.....
I have tried calling many of you with the news that our Dear Friend and fellow Doof, Mongoose passed away late last night or early this morning. He fought the good fight but it wasn't meant to be. He recieved a good Dr. report just yesterday. He spent last night with Denise watching a movie. She found him this morning around eight. I will post details on services and other pertinent information as they become available to me. He always told me he loved the Doofs and "stinkin zINTS", as he put it. He loved you guys and gals. He was like a brother. I will miss him.

Never had the honor or pleasure to meet the man.
However, it's obvious he was a good man from all the kind words from the folks here. R.I.P. Tony. Wish I had met you.

I'll never forget the first time I met him. He nearly ran across the parking lot and hugged me and said, "I've really been looking forward to meeting you". Tony was a great guy, and an absolute hoot to be around.
I'm so glad we had the opportunity to talk to him last weekend at MV. I'll miss you my friend, and I'll pick you up some Coors Light on my way to see you.

This hit me like a ton of bricks today, just as I'm sure it has everyone else here. I had just spoke with Tony last weekend. He sounded wonderful, better than he sounded in a long time. He even said that his doctors told him that his recovery was going better than they had expected. Tony was a great man and a wonderful friend. I'm proud to say that we shared many miles, and had great conversations together. There's no doubt in my mind that he's got his knees in the breeze right now. Tony you are missed.
