Rattlesnake venom is extremely potent. Timber rattlers even more so. It causes permanent and severe tissue and muscle damage as well as internal bleeding. Rattlesnake venom acts very quickly. A 45 pound dog bitten by a rattler would not survive the 45 minute ride to the nearest vet. Copperhead venom by comparison is relatively mild. It won't feel very good, and any tissue damage is usually temporary, but you're probably not going to die if bit. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
