They're good. You could easily leave them alone. Or you could do a quick run or two to set the VEs to your bike.

The only portable PCs in my house are my sons gaming laptops. they may be above the tourpack weight limit.

My III does OK, wish I could increase mileage, but oh well.

If I ever get cams in it, it'll either go to Smart Dave or a PV.

The TTS does not lock the dealer out for doing most of the work that the digital tech is needed for. It only will not allow you to remarry a TSM os TSSm, or reprogram the ecm.
If by chance you do not have your stock map, Save the map that is in your bike now, send it to TTS with a note as to what you need and Steve will make you an unlock file. After that is done, save it as your stock map and reflash your original map back in to the ECM. The TTS also saves your stock map and the last tune in the dongle now with the new software.
The cost of buying a tts and a good tune is about the same as buying your PV with the wide band set up the only difference is that once the tune is done, you put hte tts in a box and forget about it. The bike will run awesome.
The PV also locks your ecm up. I had to have the dealer overwrite one when I needed to remove one from a bike so I could properly tune it with the TTs.
I spent all day working on making a bike run half as good as I can with the TTs and than I ran a log tune and it turned my ve tables to all zeros.
At that point, I gave up. TTS and 5 hrs later the bike ran awesome.
Just my 2 cents worth on all the TTS bashing.
