I'd move it to the wall...one register(closable) down low, one up high...

Was just looking, I have two returns both up high. But my cold air, mine is only for central air, are all on the floor. It was retrofitted to the house. The house was built with hot water.
Never thought about it, but one return, smaller of the two, is in a small bedroom I keep shut up. |
