This is a direct quote from the URAL forums. "95% of all URALS are still on the road, the other .05% made it home.
I think they are rather unique and would even own one, but need to have some mechanical durability. They rattle themselves apart, but most owners do ride the pee outa them offroad. From reading their forums, the side car sheet metal splits everywhere. BOB
