And since I buy online (cheap), I gotta have a supply laid in so they are at the right humidity for maximum enjoyment. They usually come in way too wet (CI and Cigar.com), or sometimes too dry, but you just never know, so it's good to be able to let them sit for a month before you smoke them.
Which, of course, doesn't explain why I have a year's worth.

Ohheckno. The only stuff that got sold was stuff I had been meaning to sell for years but hadn't been sufficiently motivated to sell until now. That's usually the way, though. Good thing, too, or I wouldn't have anything to sell to raise money to buy whatever new shiny thing has caught my eye. I'm not 100% in love with that sentence.
So, being lazy works for me.
Well, except that one can of 00 Buck I sold Ed. But I got lots of that.

Existing former cigarette ashtrays unsuitable. Ordered a $10 CI puck ashtray w/ the smiley face (Did you know smiley is how it's spelled in the real world that you can touch, and smilie is how it's spelled here? But I digress...) so I could set down my cigar and type while I was drinking. Boop just got me a hammered copper tall Stinky Ashtray for Christmas. Well, she succummed to my puppy eyes when I showed it to her and let me order it.

And since it's cold, I'm reduced to sitting on my roll around work stool with my netbook (wireless reception is better than on the laptop) sitting on a tall stool near the window out in the shop with the router in the house sitting on top of the printer so I can get "fair" reception out there when I hold my mouth right. Cool ashtray and rocks tumbler sit on top of a big Rubbermaid tub with a fan blowing toward the "open just a crack" door.

I have one of these in my card room...Makes for nice and warm cigar smoking.

Chip gave me a couple of good cigars and I was smart enough not to go crazy. I still have my el cheapo humidor with the green foam and 35mm film can full of water, and no more cigars than I can smoke before they get old or or kill me. If I have a hankering for something that I don't have, I stop at the local cigar monger and buy one (1). I prefer lighting it from the campfire, which serves double duty as ashtray, and you look cowboy manly if you bite the end off.

It's all about self control.

In case you hadn't noticed, I kind of divert from established norms, even around here.

Don't feel bad, though, I started back in college, my habits were well established by the time you came along.
