Bondo?

My CM450 tank has two small dents in it, one each side of the tank in the same spot.

Is this just a Bondo fix? I'm gonna start to strip the tank today.

Tough to tell from that angle how deep the dent is. The more material you have to lay in, the more potential for problems later.

Not many choices, get as much of the dent out and bondo or a new tank without dents.

There will be no more grab ass in these kinds of threads.

First off I would fix the fork stops.

Do what you can first off to undent the dents. Dry ice will pop out small dimple like dents or you can try compressed air inside the tank while applying some heat to the outside.

Then use bondo to smooth the area for finish. Bondo is not really meant for filling gaping chasms. It will expand and contract if too much is used.
