I hope Indian wins. Harley price will come down. I`ll buy a Fatboy and put apes on. Hotrod stuff.

The Chieftan looks like a Vic with a fender skirt.

I do like the Chief Vintage with it's natural leather stuff and fringes. Oh, and 111 in engine that puts out 119 ft-lbs of torque before you funk with it.

The real issue here will be dealer service. I owned a Vic Vision and it was an awesome, technologically advanced bike. The dealer service sucked. I couldn't schedule an appointment, I would buy a custom Arlen Ness part and they would scratch or damage it putting it on, they had no customer service like you are used to at HD. IF they could get good service, these bikes could make some headway into Harley's market, and that would be a good thing for all of us. I hope they can pull it off. Nothing like getting a call from the dealership that they FUBAR'd your new chrome plated console panel because someone didn't pay attention to what they were doing.

If they offer a touring bike that make decent power that does not have effing throttle by wire I would be a candidate. My street glide has been at the dealership for four weeks now dealing with trouble codes related to throttle by wire. Just about fed up to the point of bailing.

The tech was installing a fourth twist grip sensor today, has tried a throttle body, and has torn his hair out ohming the harness. If they don't fix this thing soon the 2010 Street Glide could turn into a 2012 Road King Classic.

I have no interest in them, or Victory at present.

However, good competition can only lead to continued improvements and innovation.
