Rushmore True-Track with Fullsac DX
My Roadie wobbles. Every Touring Harley I've owned wobbles, but this one's the worst. So I ordered a True-Track and installed it tonight. I was concerned with the fit given the full-sized crossover on the DX. It fits with the DX pipe. But....
The T-T instructions are vague. Do yourself a favor and look at the write-up on their website....It's much more clear. I removed the entire left side exhaust in one piece (loosened the Torca clamp at the headpipe/crossover split and yanked the whole thing off. Funny thing, the tab that holds the crossover to the back of the oil pan had snapped - the left-side exhaust was held on by the headpipe and the muffler bolts. And it'll stay like that until I call Fullsac and get another one. I had to loosen the headpipe at the transmission and both of the ports to get the piece on the oil pan. There may have been a hammer involved as well. Everything else was easy-peasy. I test-fit everything and it's damn close, but it clears. I've left the mufflers loose as I'll be monkeying with them tomorrow when the Ohlins go on. But I'll take more pictures of the final product.

Oh, and FWIW the True-Track is a beautiful piece of hardware. I'm really hoping it does what it's advertised to do.

The new frames are the shiznit, but the wobble hasn't been addressed. I don't know if I'm pushing this one harder or if the frame-mounted fairing exacerbates the wobble, but this one is bad.

I had TT on my '06 RG, stopped some of the tank slapper.
The real fix was the fork head set adjustment, tightened until I could almost induce a "weave" the opposite of too loose swing away wobble. Now here's something the CHP patrol Motor's, "13, '14 and '15's, have had wobble problems issues. The fix on the '13 was to tighten and back off to the looser end of the swing away adjustment. The '14's and '15's also have to undergo steering head adjustment to reduce the wobble. not sure what the "fix" adjustment is, but they are doing some black ops, skunk works stuff to our bikes. As in you won't find it in writing anywhere that I know of... As we know the '14 and up has a way different style of head set steering bolt set up, a deep hollow top "nut", more tubular, I guess you could say. I used Progressive's version on mine. Pretty simple install. Seems to work.
Of course, mine's an obsolete '05 with the evil "sail" bat wing... I'm the Batwing. </Brick>

What would really help, would be if Harley would step into the late twentieth century and install four point contact ball bearings in the headset like the rest of the world!

My bike has actual obsolete parts on it. Yet those obsolete parts function just fine.

I installed the affordable throttle up industries stabilizer with in a few days of owning the EG. It was 129.00. I've never felt any shimmy or wobble.

I added the Stabil link several years ago and it held up nicely.

My 06' is a bone stock"man" (get it) and still has no wobble issues above the triple digit mark. The last trial was just yesterday on I-30W. 116,000mi. and climbing! Rear Shinko installed for ES-10 is already about gone, but I just recieved my fist Avon tire just today. Excited to try it out.
