To clear up a misconception...
I just checked in our official place for keeping track of stuff, and there is NO requirement for a Doof Loop to get your Cat Herder rocker.
Being who we are, Doof Loops just happen naturally, but there is no need to try to incorporate one into a ride you're leading if, by some miracle, you don't legitimately miss a turn. Carry on.

Speaking of qualifying for Cat Herder...
On our NY-43 this past weekend we had no less than three who have earned the title and all the honors pertaining thereto. Dave of JD Cycle Works led J9, Red Rider and me from his shop to Schoch's HD where we met up with knuckleheader. knuckleheader then led us from Schoch's up to I-80 and into NJ. SeDeluxe led the entire group from the doof-loop (explanation for which can be found in another thread) to Hillside.
