Nothing to the red cross ever again.
Donated some relief monies to them years ago, checked the box, "Do Not Contact Us". Our lives were a living red cross telemarketing hell from that point on for years.  These people harden a generous, compassionate heart.

I have heard that. Most of the money given to Red Cross after the big earthquake in Haiti never made it there.

The Red Cross merely uses disasters to enhance their revenue flow.
Salvation Army is usually first boots on the ground and stays with the mission. See Katrina.

Salvation Army is where we send what we can when we can. My family has had a soft spot for SA ever since the nice ladies welcomed my dad home from WWII with a package of personal items and a quart of milk.
