Drink plenty of water but note that on a hot day, you should drink cool water, Not ice cold. It can cramp up your stomach big time.

As you roll along at 70(or even 40) your sweat is evaporating and that makes you somewhat cooler. When you stop sweating, it is too late and heat stroke is next. Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate.
