Looks better than previous except for the "lowers". Looks like an awful lot of plastic in front of the engine and frame.
In general, I like it.

Ness swoopiness I'd guess.

I tried, don't mind them naked but the lowers and trunk killed it for me. The trunk from a further back angle is way floaty and Buck Rogers like and the lowers.......well, I got nothing without looking for the barfing smilie.

I'm not a Victory hater. I've not seen that version of the Cross Country.

In anticipation of Skip's test ride, I figured I'd give my impressions of the CCT that Bill76 had rented for the East Coast Doofapallooza.
It's a good-looking bike in person. The swoopiness isn't so apparent or jarring. The hand controls do look a little chintzy, but they work well. The paint was beautiful. I took a quick ride through a few miles of not-very-challenging backroads, and about 7 miles of highway. On the highway, the airflow is magnificent. It's rock-solid stable, quiet, and there's zero buffeting. The windshield was taller than I'd prefer as I was looking through it, though I know there are shorter ones with recurves available. The bike holds a line well and soaks up bumps like they're not there. The bike had no problem accelerating smoothly to 90, and had ample passing power in 6th gear. The motor feels a little soft below 2,500 rpms or so, and the sound is somewhat agricultural, but that's simply a matter of recalibrating your expectations. The gearbox is nice and positive, the clutch is like butter. It was easy to handle in the parking lot. Brakes felt at least as good as Harley's Brembos, but not nearly as strong as Helga's. The seating position, and the relationship between the seat, footboards, and bars was about perfect. I'd like to take a longer ride on one, but I'm afraid I couldn't afford it. I could easily see myself on one of these.

It looks a little less like it should be parked in front of the Blue Oyster than some of them, so it's got that going for it.
If they could ever see their way clear to kicking Arlen Ness to the curb... I mean, people are supposed to buy these things because they like the way they look, not in spite of it, right?

I took the same bike as Russ for a test ride Sunday morning.
My impression. My Street Glide has nothing to worry about. As Russ states, the air around the rider is non-existant. I didn't feel any buffeting up to 90 mph. Excelleration in 6th felt tapped out at 90. Saddlebag lid covers when latched and locked rattle around. I don't like left/right turn signals on the same button (left bar) Windshield way to high. Arms stretched out straight to reach the bars. The front end is Waaaaayy out there in front of you. Brakes and suspension were ok. Sounded like a rough running sewing machine. JMHO.
