Colorado 14
A blown fork seal and inclement weather turned our bike trip into a cage expedition but we followed the planned route anyway. Anyone planning a ride through north central Colorado might consider adding Colorado 14 between Walden and La Porte to the trip. Good road, lots of curves, great views, much of the route parallels the Cache la Poudre River.

Have done Loveland CO to Walden CO via Estes Park CO and through Rocky Mountain Natl park...

I took a wrong turn one time and did Colorado 36 from Lyons to Estes Park. One of the best wrong turns I ever took. Kept going even once I realized it was the wrong, wrong, wrong way to Boulder.

Yep. I suspect that turn was a Freudian slip; Boulder is not my favorite place. Land of the limousine hippies, god bless 'em..
