Just heard from the hotel manager that we need to plan to make payment via a credit card. Evidently people paying cash after using a card to hold the room has been causing problems with their computer system so we need to plan on leaving the charges on our cards.

I have to cancel .....
we had an unexpected expense last week and although I still have money left my wife would be SUPER PISSED OFF if I took a weekend off to have a good time while she stayed home. I'd come home to all my clothes in the driveway. Maybe next summer. all y'all have fun.

Agree with Ed. It's doable at about 80 miles west and it is not very "uplifting". However, if you are looking to pay your respects, it would be worthwhile.

I rolled in a bit ago. Nice little 2110 mile putt. Was great to see everybody and some great riding. We’re looking at Seneca Rocks, W. VA for next year.

The drenching I received on the way there Friday night wasn't so much fun, but the rest of the weekend was enjoyable.
 I'll look more into the types of available facilities near Seneca Rocks. There are hotels, cabins, group cabins all in the area. Staying up on top near Canaan Valley is also an option, and generally cooler in the evenings than down in the bottom.
