Capt. CJ - Great look - just don't see that very often, and the paint, tank badge, tool pouch and other touches really set it off nicely. I like.

CJ here. I recently got the Heritage Softtail front end on my Dyna. I have to give credit to Caliente Harley Davidson in San Antonio for the work. They did a great job.
The fairing is detachable and comes from Dragonfly Cycle Concepts. I don't think it looks as good with the fairing on but the windshield and stereo made the 1,600 mile road trip I had this summer much more enjoyable.
Since DC/MC had been so helpful with all my past motorbikin' questions I thought I'd post up with the latest progress.
Take it easy!

Looks great.Something I've been thinking about for a while. Can you tell me about any issues they had switching the front end out?

Kicker,
The only major technical consideration was grinding down the fork stops without going so far as to let the triple trees (or chrome covers) bang on the gas tank when I turned all the way left or right. Caliente HD at San Antonio did the work and were even able to make sure I could still use my fork lock! I used my existing Wide Glide fork tubes and Progressive springs (with 2 inch lowering kit). I have noticed no handling problems at low or high speed and have found the low, swept-back position of the Buffalo Bagger Style bars to be the best fit for leverage and comfort.

Like the laydown plate holder and the visor on the headlight; have one on my EG, just hate cleaning out the bugs that get power-driven up underneath. About no choice but to take the trim ring off and clean 'em out proper.

Guess I could post a pic of my FXDL, too.

I have, not as comfortable as moving my feet back to the mid pegs. But if I am out in the countryside, I'll use my heels for it. It's doable, just haven't got comfy with it yet.
