By the way, if the throttle cable is adjusted correctly, when it just hits the WOT stop on the carb/throttle body when the throttle hits its WOT stop, then there is no cable stretch. Sounds more like they do it because it covers the incompetent butts of their technicians.

Yup, that's the way I have it adjusted now. Wheel straight ahead or turned full lock right, it hits the stop on the throttle body. Full lock left, it's just shy of it when it hits the internal stop, so it's JUST going WOT before hitting the internal stop.

Yea, but if you are ever at full lock left and WOT with the motor running, you are probably having a bad day.

I think I found my problem.

The throttle cable is the one away from the bike and the idle cable is the one toward the bike. This seems to make a difference.
