Lost A Friend
My very best friend and riding buddy killed himself Saturday, I found out yesterday morning when I returned from our trip. Too many tragic details to list. Each of us individually was concerned, but nobody had all the pieces that would have let us know it was as bad as it had gotten. We're all just crushed.
His 43 ride was done, he was just really busy and hadn't yet signed up.

Try as we might, no one can ever truely understand what is going on in someone's head and just how heavy the load is at times.

I had a friend do the same thing to me a couple of years back....I knew he was having marital problems, I knew he was having financial problems, but I did not know it was going to lead him to take his own life.....I've been in your shoes....I feel your pain.....I'm saying a prayer for you and all that are effected.

I have been through a very thorough gamut of suicide prevention training, and they always caveat the beginning is that if someone wants to do it, they will no matter what. You just cannot predict it. You can see signs and everything, but noone ever really knows when/if it will actually happen. I feel for you, I really do. I will keep you and yours along with his family in my thoughts. Keep your head up and if you need to vent, etc, just click the email or PM button.......
