Hi There
Didn't know whether to post this or not.
 I have been fighting a "spongy" front brake for a while now. I had done about everything I knew to do and everything suggested here. I had a small vibration when applying the brake so I replaced the rotors. The left rotor was a bit warped and after the replacement I now have a full lever of brake. I do not have the occasional times of pulling the lever and going to the grip. So.....just in case someone that may have same symptoms, this was the solution to my issue.
