the lowers are powdercoated? I wonder if a private powdercoater would do a better job than hd? there is one around the corner from my office.....hmmm??????.....

If I'd had time, I would have gotten a set of takeoffs and had them powdercoated. It would have been cheaper.

I know who cleaned them out real good too.

However, the drain screws are still installed. A number 3 screwdriver wont budge them either.

Looks real nice, Russ. Hopefully I can find a way to get black cables, I don't want any braided, unless they are black braided. I'll defo get the new TBW sensor though. Good call on that one. I wonder what would be required to get a matching heated grip thingamabob for the other side. I've been looking at heat demons.......

Looks like I'll need mirrors too. I think these will put my hands right in front of my fairing mounted mirrors.

Yeah, I can see there being an issue with the fairing-mounted mirrors. It'd be a good time to change the levers too.

The twist-grip sensor is 32310-08, and was $72 from Jenni. I don't know if it'll work with the Heat Demons or not, but I'd assume so unless they're including their own unit to replace it. That sensor is 4 or 5 inches long and fits snugly in the end of the bar. It's not like anything else would fit in there.

The clutch cable was indeed a +4 (66.69"), and the brake line was a +2 (34"). Magnum Shielding makes black pearl braided lines that are ABS-compatible (they're nice, I've got 'em on Vader).

I swapped my levers this weekend when I changed the clutch cable.

From what I can tell, the heat demons are grip dependent, not in the bar. I'd have to do more research......I think Geeze has them.

Looks like you have to ream the bars out to make them fit, but they'll work with any grip.
