Eastern Promises
A story of a Russian mobster in London starring Viggo Mortensen. It's a violent and graphic movie with a dark subject matter.

Interesting movie, but not for the weak of stomach. The story depicts the ruthlessness of the Russian mafia and contrasts a code reminiscent of their Sicilian counterparts.

The scene in the steam was pretty freaking extreme.... didn't get to watch the entire movie, only about an hour of it... was at work and .. well .. had to do a little work.

We started watching this last night - definitely graphic right from the get-go. We ended up turning it off to watch "The Condemned" with Stone Cold Steve Austin because the storyline was taking too long to get going and we were going to fall asleep....

Is it worth watching the rest of it? Seemed to be awful slow from the part we watched....

They tie it all together and it heats up later on.
