I wouldn't pay $750 for any phone. The only way you could get an iPhone 5 sooner than April for $199 (16GB) or $299 (32GB) would be to switch carriers. Your ETF wouldn't be that bad since you only have around 6 months left on your contract. Switching carriers may or may not result in coverage issues depending on where you are located. I wouldn't even think about it unless I know for sure up front.

Anyone else had a problem with the dedicated podcast player? Tried running it on my iPhone 4 the other night and it would only play for about 5-10 seconds then cut out. Switched back to iTunes and played it with no issues.

I like the phone, but I'm used to the 4s... I almost 12ga'ed the 4s when I came from my droid, but you get used to it....
I too was disappointed in the new map layout, but it seems to be improving daily! All the unnamed side streets around my house now have names and if I drop a pin at my plant, the satellite pic is actually my plant... So maybe there is hope!! Dirk

At first I thought the battery life sucked. Then I realized that I hadn't stopped playing with the phone for about 6 hours!
 We're loving ours.

I haven't had a ton of time to play with the phone but I do like it more and more as I get used to it, how can I get punctuation on keyboard without hitting the 123 button? I have a paid keyboard on my droid that was awesome

Used the mapping for the first time when going to the Columbus comic convention. Worked really well. I was surprised how well it did and easy it was to use. Much better than the old google maps app that they let collect dust since the first version.
