Route 66

Planning a possible spring road trip. Going to be in the Chicago area in May and thinking of doing a bucket list thing by driving Route 66 back to LA.
Has anyone here ever driven or biked the full route, and is it worth the trouble?

Hey, first off, ya gotta let us know for sure when you're gonna hit Chicago. Big Tom, here in Chicago, is a major Rt. 66 man, and he can let you know all things 66!

I did not like riding around Chicago on my way to PA, just when you get back up to speed they throw a toll plaza in your way.

Don't know what the Rt 66 is like.

And you want to ride to San Bernardino?
