I like the fender but not so much the taillight. Maybe scrap that in favor of just the turn signals like the nightster.

Well like you see...
I remember back to my early days of working on cars and stuff... I like learned that aluminum would get rid of heat bettter if it was left un-painted...  Sorta like if you painted your two stroke's cylinder fins it would run hotter...
