Hope the wrist heals on its own. I've broken bones in my wrists a few times. Immobilize and wait. It's always seemed to have fixed itself after about 6 weeks.

The crash bar? a piece of 2 x 6 and a 16 pound sledge hammer. Protect the chrome with the wood. Hit it with the sledge. Couple of hits oughta do it.

If not, how much do you want for the bent ones?

Ken

No, I'm eventually going to wear plumb through the corners of mine and thought about having a cheap spare set.

They're really made out of thick steel. Maybe 3/16" to 1/4" thick. (so I have a ways to go).

Yep. That's the answer. Little training wheels on the engine guard.

Thanks, it's getting a lot better. I still push it too hard about every third or fourth day...

Oh, I'll definitely make some sort of repair.

My primary question was whether or not to try to bend them back while they're attached to the frame, or if I should take them off and straighten them in a press.

Sounds like most folk are saying do it on the bike...

It took quite a whallop to straighten mine when I snagged one side on the bumper of one of my company trucks at 3 mph. If not on the motorcycle, I don't know how you'd hold it. The tab did a pretty good job on the motor.
