Ate 'em up.
The D408 up front has 2/32 left in the center and less than 1/32 on the sides. Tire might have 7,000 miles on it.
The D407 out back has a tiny bit more than 1/32 left in the center. It might have 9,000 miles on it. I run 38/42 to help avoid this ridiculous wear. Gonna try an American Elite up front, but I'm stuck with the D407 out back (18" wheel).

Ditto.
Thought I had plenty of tread on the rear to get there and back. Had to stop at Wildcat HD in Kentucky and have a new rear mounted Saturday afternoon. 38/42 on D402's. checked pressure religiously. |

Thought the 402 on the bagger was 36 F and 36 solo/40 2-up R? It was on my '05, ennyhoos.

Ate 'em up.
Too many PSIs can make the center go to hell early.

Just checked my American Elite's, the rear has 7/32" left in the "center" tread area.
Was a bit strange on some hot tar snakes yesterday in some hard corners on CA 120 East. That is some curves and roller coaster whoop de doos... Don't know if its the '11 frame setup or the tires or gooey tar snakes on a hot day.

Oddly I had more tread left in the center of the front than the sides, though I blame that on aggressive trail braking. When I ran the recommended pressure on the BSL I had issues with tire cupping.
It seems that there's no winning.
