I've only had the front pulley off once in 68 k miles, but I don't recall the inside flange edge being as sparkly clean as yours. I'm wondering if there is excessive side torque with the belt on that edge. Looks polished in the pictures.

The bias of the belt running to the outside of the drive pulley is what jumps out at me.

I got 112k out of my original belt, and I'm at 46k on this one. I replaced the original just to be safe.

I'm wondering if the belt isn't trying to walk up onto the shoulder, and is able to under massive acceleration? That would tighten the belt immensely and snap it.

This is what I ordered: Rear hub, rear sprocket,front sprocket from RB Racing; Chain (EK 530ZVX3-120/AR) from Powersportparts.net; EK chain tool from ebay.

I'll see (hopefully this weekend) just how it works out.
No More Belts to break!!! I'll likely break something else, something much worse and more expensive... but I'm ready to wash my hands of the belt fiasco.
