Driving Miss Daisy
She didn't take to it as well as Bullet did but we had a good time.
I didn't have a harness for her and so I just wrapped the lead around the grab bar. At the first corner she jumped out at the stop sign. The ring on her collar broke and she was off. It didn't take long to get her back and she was fine. We rode in short legs to acclimate her to the bike. First we went to the park and then over to Horny Toad HD. From there we went straight to Pet Smart and got a harness which works out a whole lot better. And the young lady that helped me find one and put it on made it all worth while. We rode over to Ponder's Auto for a visit and then out to the lake for a few minutes. Then it was time to head home before the heat got bad. All in all, she had a good time but it will take several more short leg rides to get her completely comfortable with the whole idea but she will do fine. Someday soon, after a few more short rides, I will put her and Bullet in at the same time. Not too bad for a dog that had never been out of a cage in her whole life. She is a rescue from a puppy mill so life hasn't been all that enjoyable up until now. She thinks she is in Heaven here with a back yard that she has the run of and the freedom to come in and out as she pleases. .

Cool. Jim, there is a small 1/2" wide bracket at the lower front edge of the seat that has a bolt through the floor. That could be an easy anchor point for a leash and it would assure that they couldn't jump (even partially ) out.

Hella cool deal man. I was going to bring the GF's long hair Chiwawa with me, but her ole Catahoula might be gone to the great beyond by my return and would not like Lil to be without her other furry child. I'll have a tank bag for her to ride in upon my return.
Nite al
