I'm so sorry Steve. Prayers on the way for you and you're family. You know, I was named after my great grandfather. He passed when I was about 3 and I do remember him. I remember sitting on his lap and being sung to. My family reminded me of those times often and kept the memories alive. Help keep those memories alive for the little ones and they will remember her too.

My deepest sympathies Steve on the loss of your mom. Glad you had breakfast with her and that you knew she was at peace and ready to move on.
Prayers for you and all the family.

...so are the days of our lives. My most heart felt condolences to you and your family Steve. Sometimes it's hard to let go. I remember my mom telling me she was not leaving the hospital, she knew where she was going and was happy about it. She passed between visitations. Strange thing is after her telling me the things she did, I have not missed her but maybe once in the 28 years since her passing. On the other hand, I have missed my pop almost every day since he passed. It was not to be his time, it just worked out that way.
You have my number and if you ever wish to talk about her or any life matter, please feel free to call anytime. BOB

So sad to hear this Steve. My Mom passed away a few weeks ago, 88, and your Mom was part of that great generation also, real people, no excuses, etc.
My mom was a welder during WWII in an airplane plant, she never ever mentioned it, no big deal to her I guess. I miss my Mom terribly also, her last words to me was "just waiting for judgement day, I'll be going back home "(hills of W. V.). I hope I can one day reach close to the level of character you Mom (& mine) had. My you Mom RIP, safe in the arms of the Lord forever.
