Finally.
The 'b' saw the light of day for the first time this year yesterday.
Spring weather here has been abysmal. But we finally caught a break, so a putt was in order. Didn't go far, so only a half a tank of gas was burned. It felt good to go for a ride. After-effects were minimal. We're supposed to get a bunch of rain today and tommorrow, turning to snow later this weekend, so the riding season will continue in fits and starts for the foreseeable future.

It was good that you got out.
Untimely rains and high winds have confused us here.

It has been a weird year. We burned through 2 tanks of gas today. I think we went from Winter directly to Summer. It was cooking hot today.

Did the "B" see her shadow?
I was thinking of taking a putt over to Sacatomatos next week as the weather was supposedly warming up, but now they are saying some snow possible up on top of the hump in the coming days.

We just got back from Jersey. It was in the 80's today. Patti just checked the weather and after tomorrow, temps are forecast to be below 70 for the rest of the month.

Rain, thunderstorms and high winds have been the name of the game on the Third Coast. Today is going to be lovely though.

Now we're getting sleet, air temp is 32, wind chill 19. My pickup has about a quarter inch of ice on it, slush on the paved surfaces. Crustiness describes the lawn. At least the wind died down. Its only blowin' at a steady 20 mph now. Yesterday it was in the 30 mph range and gusty. Highs today will hover in the mid 30s (average high is 59), temps dropping to the mid-20s overnight, with snow through tomorrow. Minor accumulations are predicted. The upcoming week will be cold as well. High temps in the mid 40s for the next 10 days or so. Lovely. Could be worse, tho. I have relatives living in SW MN. They got about 2' of snow out of this storm, and the winds are howling out that way, so drifting is a major problem. I have a cousin who has a dairy farm. He milks 100 head. He's gonna have fun getting that milk tanker in and out of his yard the next few days........
