Motorcycle safety ad...
Is this valid or does it put all responsibility for motorcycle safety on the biker?

I think it portrays the motorcyclist as the one at fault in this particular ad. I also think that they try to balance the message by the tagline, think motorcycles at intersections.
As we all know and statistics have proven, that the auto driver is at fault ~~ 85% of the time. I can't imagine London being that much different.

To be truthful, we are sometimes our worst enemy.
I don't think any ad campaign needs to be in one direction only. We need a little reminder that we truly are responsible for our own actions.

I always assume full responsibility when I get on my bike.
I hope others in traffic around me do the same thing. But, I don't expect it. |

That 85% statistic may be true for Harley or cruiser riders, bit in the crotch-rocket world I can almost guarantee you that ratio is reversed.

Yes and yes. As it should be, and others have said.... I am not going to allow anyone but myself to be responsible for my safety. Sometimes morons in cages do stupid shit that could hurt someone else, but I still accept full responsibility for my own safety.

I don't see the problem with the ad.
Lots of dumbasses on bikes speed and pass in no passing zones, this speaks to them.
