"IT"
Went to see Stephen King's "IT" today. Fair horror movie. The interaction among the fine cast of young actors make the movie.
Rated R. Even so, a couple of families came in with 3-6 yr old kids in tow. During one of the more bloody scenes one of the youngsters started crying. The parents just hushed him up and made him stay for the whole show. Nightmare time tonight.

I am not a horror fan, and clowns are creepy.
Shame on those parents

Sounds right. Age doesn't make you smart. Taking a toddler to a Stephen King movie of any kind is like being a belly dancer at a biker rally. One of these things is not like the others...

Belly dancers are notoriously dense, so it's likely that (s)he had no clue about how much her (his, their) presence wasn't appreciated.

My Dad took me to see the "Mummy" when I was younger.
I "slept" (?) on top of the covers the entire night. There were cobras under the bed, in the closet and under the blankets!

Parents of the year for taking young kids to that movie. My son is 7 and I don't let him watch movies that will scare the pants off of him

around age 5 I hid behind the seat when the whale swallowed the boat that Pinocchio was on.
