Saw 3:10 yesterday...great film. Fairly good rat fuk on Charley Prince.

I love the fight in Open Range, probably the best ever filmed. IMHO, Costners 9-10 shots from the Colt is a deliberate Homage to early westerns.

The biggest flaw in the fight is the shotgun blast blowing the guy across the alley in the air.

Yea but it looks cool. Do consider that he was shooting him with both barrels of a 10 gauge loaded with 00 buck shot. Like being hit with about 20-25 38 bullets all at the same time. Still would not throw you across the alley, but it would dam sure put you down in a hurry.

Watched Yuma saturday. I liked it. Crowe did a great acting job. Ruthless killer with a heart. Mommy left me at the train station. I loved when he jumped Peter Fonda and tossed him off the cliff. I didn't quite get Fonda getting gut shot then riding the next day. Charlie was fun to watch. Quite a nut job.
