Cam's bbq sauce

I see all these threads on sauces, and I figured I'd throw mine in. Since I'm in New England, I can get good maple syrup from anywhere, so this recipe uses it. I don't like using ketchup in my sauce, so I use diced tomatoes and tomato paste.

It has a little sweetness, but the pepper and cayenne balance it nicely. And the liquid smoke gives it that nice savory flavor and ties it all together.

2 tablespoons of blackstrap molasses
1/2 cup of pure maple syrup (dark amber preferred)
2 cups diced tomatoes, pureed
2 cans of tomato paste (the 5oz cans)
1/2 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoons of liquid smoke
1/4 teaspoon of cayenne powder
3 teaspoons ground mustard
2 teaspoons allspice
3 teaspoons paprika
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1 1/2 teaspoons black pepper
1 tablespoon of minced ginger
1 teaspoon of ground coriander

Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and simmer for 15 - 20 minutes, uncovered. Cool. Store, covered in refrigerator for up to a month.
