Pineapple on pizza (pepperoni)
For whatever reason, the first time I ever had pepperoni on pizza, at 16 YO, it gave me horrendous heart burn.
But I have found out by accident, a friend had ordered pizza at a local restaurant / bar and it was pepperoni with pineapple on it. I normally don't / won't eat pepperoni pizza, but I gave this a try after much try it. And I didn't get the heartburn from hell and want to die effect.

I admit to being an odd ball. And when it comes to food it stands out more.
I love a good Hawaiin pizza, pineapple & ham being the main topping.  Heck, I also love a good burger with a slice of pineapple on it .

When I was in Florence Italy, I met some of the guys from the ship in a local restaurant, they had ordered the "house special" pizza, it came out with a egg in the middle and had ham and slices of tomato on it, best free pizza I ever had. Because they wouldn't eat it with the egg on the top.
Quite different from what they were expecting. Guess they thought the house special would be the same as the ones in Naples.

I like plain pepperoni on thin crust, minimal sauce. Yeah, I know. Boring when I could have anchovies, pineapple, tomatoes, eggs, olives, peanut butter, and onions as well.
There's no accounting for who people marry, how they spend their money, or what they eat on their pizzas.

About preferring plain pepperoni pizza? Yes, sir. I am serious. I have even been known to choose plain cheese pizza.
