Probably just excess assembly lube (silly cone schmeer) left over when they put the pistons in.

Or the HD shop will tell you, it's leaking because, it was ridden too few /too many, miles

Insert which ever excuse fits...

Is the oog ugg dripping or just a collection of moist dirt /dust /bug and critter guts?

It's prolly cuz it was ridden too little (3K in three years) and then suddenly ridden too much (over 9k under 2 mo.) and it can't adjust.
If the bike could talk, it would report itself stolen.

I will test to see if the ook will lift paint from an unsuspecting old toolbox. Dot4 will, assembly lube won't.
The ook is not dripping and there doesn't appear to be any trace of it elsewhere.

Note that this is the first thread ever to have contained:
spooge;drool;durable moisture and Mighty Vac.
Quite exclusive without even bringing up the "primary emissions"(for texture)

It just keeps gettin' better!

MOCO says the Brembo calipers are NOT SERVICEABLE. That's BS, of course.
Dealer wants 213.15 for the caliper. I says 'no thanks' and take a few laps around the interwebs. I have found pics of the (simple) rebuild and reference to part #670-1006X.
I have only found a single source, though, at QTM.
They are apparently the only game in town and they want 50 bux for just the rubber kit.
Only source. I'll prolly get 'em.

Actually, The new tire and pads are at the house now, so I'll clean it up, put it back together and ride a bit to decide when to go back in.

Quit stressing and do some (more) riding.

Take it over to Louisiana for the ultimate test.

Well, I didn't take it apart. Looked real close and it could be brake fluid or...
Not.
There is much of whatever it is so I scrubbed it up and put it back together.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1374942749.656860.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1374942776.937105.jpg

So put a piece of wood between the pistons and pump the brakes mucho times and then bungee the brake handle tight, and let sit overnight to see if you have a seeping leak.

That is a great idea...but of course, my brand-spanky-new Power vision arrived.

I'm certain that I wont be able to park it today
