Gen 5 Glock 34 to Keep 43 Company….
Had it in the safe for a bit, finally got it out to exercise it this morning.
I’m smitten, this is the one for me! Finally made it to the range and hot damn, I’m apparently not just an average pistol shooter, this rig makes you a range hero. Now the hunt for an optic to occupy the MOS plate and higher irons to co-witness gets real. I know, it is ugly as sin but my Gawd it fits me just so and is flawless in what it does and how it does it. Never thought a single piece of equipment could elevate ones game so nicely…. Pretty impressed with the light so far, one click = on, 2 clicks = strobe or push and hold then release to go off. Practised today at length with light on double taps and then light off. Going to take some more repetition to get it second nature, used a 12 x 12 tinfoil square to show the light in daylight.
That 6.5MOA is one honey of a combination, I’m in hog heaven. Just need the Dawson Precision tall co-witness tritium irons to arrive…..

Thanks Y'all, the Dawson Precision showed up on the eve of our trip back north, so no time to put it together. Although I have all the tools, I thought it was a nice touch for them to include a nicely made drift and front sight tool. The sights are just as bright or brighter than the Trijjicons on my 43, nicely made, the rear has all the sharp edges removed with being such a brick and if you are listing your co-witness sight height by red dot manufacture grouping, that earns a tip of the hat!
Dan, the belt is from Haley Strategic, I have their chest rig and it is 100% USA made. The belt while very, very nice and performs like a champ, has offshore origins. Do check them out tho, some nice stuff........
