I was thinking of spending one night and going to Glacier. Usually get there Sunday night, and stay a day or two.

Was wondering when do the rooms go up$? Are they already expenive the Friday before?

Camping cheap, and I have done that a couple times. But when you are making it part of a bigger trip, its just PIA to carry all that stuff, and break camp every day. OL hated camping at Sturgis too.

Never tried getting a room there because I always heard that everything is booked years in advance.

I know of a cabin in Deadwood. Real, Real nice. Garage. Nice view. Sleeps 10/12. $1500 for a week.
But, it's the week before the rally starts. We like to go before the crowds so we can ride the Blackhills without a lot of traffic.
