It's a little too tight for a passenger without shimming the brackets to move it forward. So I just use it for solo rides. Between that, the Cruise Arms, and the Iso's with Throttle Rocker, you can almost go to sleep while riding.

I have the exact same backrest as Luke and it's great. I find it's more helpful with the wind than anything. I don't use the windshield that much and the backrest really takes the strain off the arms. I have the same passenger issue, but I think I need to cut some more off of the bottom.

i kept the corbin detachable backrest when i updated to the ultra. course i'm 10 years older now and really appreciate the rest now on any rides outta town. i'll use it when my solo saddle gets here too.
