Offered $4K over blue book
Was toying with the idea of a new truck. This time looking at 3500 SRW. So I go on KBB and look up the value of my 2012 Ram Laramie 4x4 long bed, blah blah blah. Sounded good, had a decent amount of equity which makes for a healthy down payment.
On the page there was a link to get an instant cash offer. OK, I'll play. In a few minutes I received an offer from a local Hoonda dealer (autos). It was $4,000 over the value shown on KBB for a private sale. OK, I'll play On a whim, took the offer sheet to the Hoonda dealer, expecting them to greatly reduce their offer. To my amazement, they honored their offer.  OK Sold I am now truckless for ~8 weeks until my custom ordered 2016 arrives. See other thread for details on that I'm still scratching my head. Why the hell does a Hoonda dealer want my 4 year old ginormous Ram truck so bad ?
