Will there be. . .
an east coast or National event this year? I'm going to have to schedule vacation time soon and I don't have a clue what to ask for. I KNOW I can't get the week of the 2013 West Coast Doofapalooza. . . thoughts?

Yes, there will be an East Coast event. Yes, it'll be at the end of August (21st-25th probably). Yes, you should take the time off and plan on seeing everyone.

I'm moving to a new project on Monday with a fixed finish date of 13 July. Can't make the West Coast Palooza either, so we're hoping to make a ride somewhere.
While not a Palooza, there's some talk between a few of us interested in a trip to Maine first week of August. That also happens to be the time for the Annual Lobstah festival in Rockland.  There are sooooo many options on how to accomplish this. It could be a roving/rolling week long event traveling around Maine/NH and points in between, or it could be pick a destination and go there. I'd still like to ride to the west coast if it can be arranged though.

I'm definitely out for the West Coast thingie. I might be up for Maine. Assuming I'm not taking Katie to college during the East Coast dates, I'll be there.
Given things during the past year, namely my wreck and Luke's wreck, it's killing me not going to the WC palooza.
