Oil change.....
I have come the conclusion that....
1. I need another 41 patch 2. Harley should NOT make the oil and transmission bottles identical. 3. 2 oil changes and a waste of 2 and 1/2 quarts of motor oil and 1 quart of transmission fluid. 4. Realized it to late today to make a run before they closed. :badm ood:: badmood::badmo od:

Better check the dip stick before you leave and make sure the drain plug ain't drippy.
I think they put words and stuff on the bottles?

I did the exact same thing in the middle of a hotel parking lot. Thank goodness a dealer was right around the corner and one of the salesmen was working late. And that Yolkum was there to run over and get it.

Long story short.......
Decided to make a Doof ride at the last minute. Bike needed an oil change prior to leaving. Put in a long, hard day at work. Rode the bike to work and back that day, so motor was hot. Drained old oil, left pan under bike, changed filter, proceeded to add new oil. Walked away from bike, turned around for some unknown reason, just in time to see the rest of the freshly added new oil drain from the unplugged oil pan. Yep, forgot to put the plug in prior to installing the fresh oil........ Thankfully, I had enough extra on hand to finish the change. Regarding the Harley oil, my motor guy has no problem with it, so it's fine by me. And I run no more than 4K between changes anyway. And I buy it in gallon jugs at dealer open houses, at a minimum 15% discount. Get my filters at the same time.
