I had already texted those who had expressed interest in this. I've had to bow out this year due to family commitments. I sincerely apologize for not updating the thread.

Indy-area GBNF ride?
We gotta do something. Tony's wife is not available that day, so going to their favorite bar on the NE sIde of Indy is contraindicated. The riding there is, ah, let's say "less than optimal". I also believe Sonic is out that day.
If you can host the out of towners like Big TOE who need a place to stay, maybe we could all meet up in Spencer and have a nice ride down south, maybe finishing up in Bloomington at the Crazy Horse where Tony had more than a few beers with us in the past? I'm also up for any other suggestions anybody may have. We need kind of a rough count here, and a plan. Don't be shy. I'd prefer to just show up and follow somebody else.

DPH's job comes to an end in 2 days, this opens up our ability to do some weekend type rides for the rest of the summer. I'm interested in doing a ride for Tony.

Conversation with She Who Must Obeyed:
"I want to step up and host a few folks, I chat with on the internet, for a day or two to do a GNBF ride." "Do what? What does host mean?" "Provide sleeping/camping accomodations..." "For a bunch of bikers? Are you nuts?" "Yeah, pretty much, but Josh and Mega assure me they are good folks." "And just who are they." "A couple of guys I chat with on the internet. It's gotta be OK - they have T-shirts and timing covers and stuff..." Sooooo, since Josh can't host, I'll step up... I'm in northwest Indy. I only have two spare bedrooms and those go to the highest bidders. For you cheapskates, there's lots of area for camping, and a large (but full) garage - bring a tent and/or air mattress. There are a couple of decent resturaunts within a couple of miles (and all of Indy/Brownsburg if you desire). I don't have a gun range, but I do have the room to fire the spud gun. Theres's a small oval thru the trees for four wheelers. There is a small pool, and a pond if it ain't dried up by then. I have 4 guitars, a mandolin, and a keyboard - sorry, no banjos. Russ: I have tools and a trailer if you break your own stuff. If you break any else's... Did I mention the spud gun? The plan so far: Friday 7/18: Arrive after 5:00 pm - throw stuff on the grill or eat out. Stores and resturaunts close by. Maybe a drive-in style movie on the barn door or garage wall (depends on our little blood sucking friends and the weather). Saturday 7/19: Leave about 9:00. Ride from here to Spencer (IN43) is about 1.5 hours from here with a couple of quick stops. (Josh won't be available). Unfortunatley, I have no free place to shoot, but there are a few ranges around. We can wing another activity or two Aftrernoon/evening dinner in Bloomington at the Crazy Horse on Saturday night - Dutch, of course... Bloomington back to my house is about 1.5 hours. Movies, Pool, whatever... Sunday 7/20: Anyone here on Sunday can go to church with us and repent for the weekend. The pastor has a "Sinister Blue" ElectraGlide, so he'd love it if a bunch of bikers showed up. Ground rules: 14. Your can pee in the yard, but not the shampoo bottles 7. gAZINTAs: The dogs like peanut butter, but don't... 8. Don't aggrivate the wife - she works for the Post Office... PM me for the address and let me know if you're coming...

Everybody knows how well armed the group is and wouldn't take any chances on not being perfect ladies and gentlemen at all times.
