Bonus Winter Riding
With weather and schedules cooperating, Brent and I took some time yesterday for some much needed escape. Since there hasn't been any snow to speak of, almost all our roads were clear of sand and or salt. Only up top on the Skyline Drive was there any evidence of sand along the road edges and on the centerline striping.
This picture is from the parking area at the top of Rte. 211 at Skyline Drive of Shenandoah National Park. NO SNOW ANYWHERE.

Gotta love it. I always try to get a ride on Christmas Day regardless of the weather but got 3 days of 70 deg. with clear blue sky. Need a lot more of that. Glad you were able to get out.
