Thanks, Warren, but I've already got one.

I ordered the clutch cable kit since Whitt's didn't have it in stock.
I did installed the new handle bars today.

...but....

...you know the little thingies that attached the throttle cable to the throttle grip...

...well...while removing one of them to take the grip off, one slipped outta my controi...I heard the 'p-ting' of it hitting the lift table and then I think it went thru the tear of the time-space continuum that is in Mikey garage 'cause I spend the better part of an hour looking for it and its gone.

....I could amuse you with the scenarios I attempted to determine where it could have gone (Like how I used the other thingie to re-enact the 'drop incident' a dozen times to try to determine where it went)

...or how Mikey's garage has been swept in the hopes of finding it that way (yeah, when I called the wife up at home and told her to come down to Mikey's house to sweep the garage [sweeping beingz wimmins work & all], she hung up on me and didn't answer the phone when I tried calling her back...sheesh!

...anyway, I took my battery tender down there & plugged it in soz the battery will be charged up by tomorrow. I do another trip to get the little throttle cable thingies and also get a new windshield.

I could be riding by next weekend!

Well, we'll probably find it when you take it off the lift.

Oh, and thanks for sweeping the garage for me.

When to Whitt's (again) to get the throttle cable dongley-things, bought a new windshield and bought Aleia a new helmet (she came with me today to inspect the progress I've made on repairing the bike).

More work done - got the controls installed on the right side of the handlebars.

At first i was like this:

...then I was like this:

Aleia got frustrated and had to take the reins - she wants to start riding!

...so I guess once I get the new clutch cable I can install it (and change the tran.fluid too), change the oil and Silver should be ready to roll.
