Long term storage?

If one had a firearm they didn't use very often, could it work, if it was cleaned and oiled, wrapped in anti corrosion paper or a bag, then sealed with one of those vacuum food sealers in one of the vacuum bags those machines use?

Don't see why it wouldn't. Only issue I see is the size of the weapon. We have one of those vacuum sealers and it works quite well. You could easily seal most pistols and possibly even a long gun if you use the 'custom size' long rolls you can cut to the needed length.
