My Story, the Beginning... Welcome! The purpose of this forum is to "formally" introduce yourself to other members. Bonus points for telling us something embarrassing. We encourage you to visit the "Our origins and history.." area to gain a little insight into how the heck this all started, anyway. |

I have arrived!!!!!
Where do I start?
I was invited to an event in Texas with the Cloud Riders a few weeks ago by BenBoosted. Over the course of the weekend I met a lot of people who seem to genuinely enjoy life and time with their friends who share the same interest....motorcycles. Thanks Ben and thanks to all the people I met that weekend. I currently own a 2000 HD Softail Standard and in the market for a touring bike. I've reached a point where I want to ride more often and ride much further. The current bike isn't well suited for long rides. I'll be around posting here and there but mostly trying to absorb all the info and crazy banter here. My embarrassing story? There are many, most of which are best told in the company of friends and accompanied by adult beverages. One that comes to mind is the cat that made me kick myself in the nads at 3 AM. Troy |

Welcome in!
I toured almost as much on my Low rider as I did on my Ultra. I wish I still had it. Look forward to doing some more riding in the future.

Welcome from central Kansas.
I find that my Heritage works pretty well as a touring bike. I've written a couple of Baggers and I find they don't fit me as well. Sent from the garage or bathroom by my HTC One, using Tappingtalk.

Welcome to the mad house. A couple of things:
1) You can tour on anything if you want to travel bad enough; 2) Quote:
Spill. Please.
