My winter project

As some of you know, I've been planning some changes to the bike this winter, along with a motor rebuild, so I thought I'd start a thread to post things as I get more done. Here's a couple of pics that show what I'm planning to do.

This picture shows the bike with the batwing fairing and seat put in place:

and here's a close up of the seat and backrest...

front view showing the fairing....

and a rear view showing the luggage rack.

I still need to fabricate mounting brackets for the fairing and mount everything properly. I will also be adding front and rear crash bars, and a friend has a late 60's tour pak that will be donated to my build. It's good to have friends. I'll post more as I get more completed.

Well, she's tore down and the motor goes out for her rebuild tomorrow. The fairing has been fitted up, but I still need to make seat and tourpack mounts. Here's a couple of shots showing how she looks now....
