Since I'm the President of The "Can't Leave Well Enough Alone Club," here we go again!

Tired of fussing with carb's. Hard starting in cold weather, spitting and sputting, less gas mileage, yada yada yada. No offense to carb lovers out here, I'm one too, BUT.................. FI has come a really long way since my nightmare-ish experience with MM injection on my 1998 RoadKing Classic.

Many thanks to Smart Dave for the help and hookup with info and parts!

Here's a couple of pics of what I got accomplished last night. Carb out, FI in. ThunderMax in, wiring harness in. Gotta go pickup different throttle cables and switch out the exhaust, hope to be finished up tonight!!

I've read several threads on the T-Max. Looked like folks were having a lot of problems. but didn't pay enough attention to figure out if they were user issues vs hardware issues.

What does Smart Dave think of them?

Smart Dave recommended this one to me. He's had good luck with them. I trust his advice. This one is the auto tune. Still have to load in a map thats as close to your setup as you can get, then let the module go from there. I'm probably gonna have to schlep up to Smart Dave's in the spring and let him fine tune it.

Auto tune, yep. Pipes, stock head pipes and stock mufflers off a 2013. (They're pretty open) K&N filter on an open SE intake. SE 204 cams. Stock 2006 heads. 103 CID. I'm tired of chasing the horsepower genie. Basic stock with an auto tune and I'm lovin' life.

Got her finished this afternoon. One phone call from tech support (Smart Dave) and he had me pretty much dialed in. Couple little tweeks need doing tomorrow, but man o man, does this thing like FI! It's a happy scooter. Put about 25 miles on it this afternoon around the area, not enough time to really get out and play with it. Thats what tomorrow is for!!

Glad to hear that's working out for you. I like the Delphi unit. My 06' has been care free to date w 80K+
The temps dropping here, so the only riding I'll be doing is to work.
