Just bought not installed the Kurakyn for average riders and switchbaldes. Not sure about the swithcblades, wonder if they will hold up. I kinda wanted peg like them that didn't open. But if they work could be cool. Haven't opened them yet, and saved receipt.

I wanted American made. But was choice between Harley made in China, and Kuraykn made in Korea. I have had really bad luck with Kuraykn not sure why I bought them. Need something for ES.

Just put them legs on top of the lowers. Real comfortable. You tried it?

I've had great luck with Kuryakyn... quality... holds up... innovative... helluva lot better looking than the HD crap with all those bastard flames and skulls...

I do find that they ship with crappy secondary hardware. I toss it and get chrome hardware with acorn (pointy) nuts...

You can get replacement rubbers too.

I stay away from their LED crap...

Their MR16 lighting systems are top notch... very well made.

I just installed my HD's tonight and they're great. Is it just my bike or do all crash bars flex a lot?

I'll post pics tomorrow. They're like Rock's.

no mine seem to flex a lot as well, especially if you push down on one side more than the other, adjusting your seating position, don't like the way it flexes then at all

Never noticed my engine guard flexing, maybe some of you guys should get the bar and shield salad bowl.

As for Kuraykn. There tranny dipsticks suck. Bought at Sturgis, got ti home chrome was flaking and threaded poorly. Bought it abck next year. 3 ina row did it, salesperson got bitchy and gave me my money. I email Kuraykn, they offered me a free one, saying ya we know its a problem. I didn't take them up on it.

2000 ordered highway pegs from them. Took them out of the box, all the sudden my hand got warm. The chrome peeled in a big flake, I blood down to my elbow.

My current floorboards, will probably have to be cut off cause the botls are rounded.

But theres not alot of option. Either China or Korea.

You guys are just a little heavy is all. I don't think I can flex mine by standing on it full force. But I don't think it's a big deal. I'm not even 200lbs. I just talk big.

Here's a shot of my new HD Highway Pegs. I have a 30" inseam and they are plenty close for me. I think they're just right.

Thanks for helping make this a one time purchase.

Thanks,

I tried'em out today. It's sort of strange with my heels on them. The bike becomes real wide. Visions of on coming traffic ripping my left leg off danced in my head for a while 'till I got used to it.
